Fraud Prevention

Insurers pass information to the Claims and Underwriting Exchange register, run by Insurance Database Services Ltd (IDS Ltd). The aim is to help insurers to check the information provided and also to prevent fraudulent claims. When your request for insurance is dealt with, the register may be searched. When you provide information about an incident, which may or may not give rise to a claim, information relating to that incident will be passed to the register. You can ask the insurer for more information about this You should show these notices to anyone who has an interest in property insured under the policy.
